We think its a good place, especially with it being a reasonable price aswell. 100% recommend!

We stayed (camped) here on more than one occasion, quite a few this summer. When emailing them, they always got back to you and would be very helpful. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, especially the camping side of things. There were four showers up to the top near the hub, these were more than adequate, and two showers in the shepherd’s hut on the camping part of the site, my husbands favourite ones. There were enough toilets with four being the ladies, a baby change/toilet and the men’s being near the hub with running water etc. There were two toilets in the shepherd’s hut, which are septic tank style, so you have a choice of what is best for yourself. (Me personally found them quite strong smelling even though they were clean) We never had to queue for any of these. Whilst we were there, a few campers had got a bit loud, the staff were there to remind them of the rules, this was done politely and professionally. Which was nice to see and showed they cared about everyone on the campsite. Being so close to the river and seeing all of the nature is so lovely, we paddled boarded everyday. We visited Bodiam Castle which was lovely for our two children, also with having extra activities to do in the summer holidays. We did the stream train which is well worth a visit too! We did have drinks from the hub which were nice and staff were friendly to. We would definitely recommend this campsite, and have done already. With the location, the river being so close, the lovely walks and things to do. We think its a good place, especially with it being a reasonable price aswell. 100% recommend!
